Privacy policy.

This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit this website, purchase the digital guide, or ask for support—and how that information is used and protected.

Last updated: September 9, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to The Home Savings Handbook website, its customer-support communications, and information we receive in connection with purchases of our downloadable guides. Payment checkout and transaction processing are also subject to Dodo Payments’ own privacy notices.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us or request help with an order, we may receive your name, email address, order number, purchase and download details, and anything you include in your message.

Purchase information

Dodo Payments processes checkout as merchant of record. We may receive limited transaction information needed to confirm an order, deliver the three PDF files, prevent misuse, provide support, and maintain business records. We do not intentionally collect or store your full payment-card number.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website, complete and verify purchases, deliver or restore access to digital products, answer support requests, prevent fraud and unauthorized distribution, improve the guide and customer experience, keep legally required accounting records, and comply with applicable law.

We do not use purchase data to send unrelated marketing unless you have asked to receive it or applicable law otherwise permits it. You may opt out of non-essential marketing at any time.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site may use technologies that are necessary for security, checkout, and basic operation. We do not currently use advertising cookies on this website. Dodo Payments and other third-party services may use their own necessary technologies when you visit their pages; their policies control that activity.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as reasonably needed with providers that help us host the website, process and document payments, deliver downloads, send transactional email, prevent fraud, or provide customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect customers, the public, or our rights.

Dodo Payments acts as merchant of record and an independent data controller for payment processing, tax, fraud, dispute, and related transaction functions. Vercel may process limited technical data to host and secure the website.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, support, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods can differ by record type and jurisdiction.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including limiting access and using secure services where available. No website, email system, or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity and retain information that the law requires us to keep.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a request, use the Contact page.

9. Children’s privacy

The website and guide are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

10. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. When required, the relevant service provider or we use safeguards intended to protect information under applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Additional notice will be provided when required.

12. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the Contact page or by emailing aerolutstudio+homesavings@outlook.com.
